The municipal Departments of Local Development and Employment of Manilva, Casares and Estepona along with the regional goverments "Sierra Bermeja" employment department have anounced a number of grants available for small and medium sized businesses (Pymes):

a) Grants for  commercial modernisation. Includes the purchase of computers and other IT equipment, software, internet, opening new outlets, expansion and improvements to existing premistes, renewal of equipment and furniture, etc.
b) Grants for promotional activities and materials. Includes participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, demonstrations and conferences, production of catalogues, brochures and posters, internet advertising, logo and packaging design.
c) Grants for the modernisation and development of traditional Andalucian products and activities. Help with the purchase of new machinery and equipment, cost of launching a new product and developing new markets, registration fees, training programmes, etc.
These grants can be up to 50% of the total cost of the investments. Applications should be presented before the 31st January.
