The Andalucian Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Sport  has published the Resolution of 29 December 2005 which calls for grants to private enterprises in tourism for 2009.

Beneficiaries are small and medium sized businesses (Pymes) and the self-employed, who are based in Andalucia, and include the following:

Hotels: Refurbishment and modernisation including  new technologies and management systems. Installation or adaptation of facilities for non-polluting energy systems. Priority will go to those businesses looking to obtain more than a three-star rating and to improve disabled access and accommodation.

Campsites: Refurbishment and modernisation of fixed installations such as access roads, parking, security, electric, water and sanitation systems, necessary to improve the standard of the facility. New technologies and management systems, clean energy sources environmental improvements, etc.
Spas: Renovation and modernisation of spas, introduction of complementary services and leisure activities.
Rural tourism accommodation: Creation, expansion and modernisation of the region's rural tourism accommodation.
Establishment of typical Andalucian restaurants: Creation, refurbishment and modernisation of businesses specialising in Andalucian cuisine. New technology, management systems, improved access, etc.
Travel Agencies: Development and implementation of IT and software applications for online bookings, etc.
Tourist Information Services: Technological modernisation, creation of tourist routes for nature, culture, sport, etc. Management systems and development of other tourism products.
Marketing Support: Development of customer relation strategies, search engine optimisation. Creation, renovation and improvement of websites.
The subsidy is a maximum of 40% of quotation subject to competive tendering. Projects may not be initiated before the submission date.
