The signing was conducted by the President of ACEMCE, Gary Walters, and the DKV Seguros SA, Malaga branch manager José Manuel Barreiro Barrado, and was attended by various ACEMCE committee members.

The agreement offers preferential rates and terms to ACEMCE members, compared with those available to the general public.

There are two main product ranges, the first being the private health insurance "DKV Integral", which provides cover for emergency primary care, specialists, diagnostic services, hospitalisation and surgery. The doctor can choose which preferred doctor or which hospital the wish to use from the extensive list of those with which DKV Seguros, SA has arrangements. DKV Integral coverage is unlimited, and for an additional premium, members can enjoy global medical travel insurance (for trips not exceeding 90 days).

The other product " DKV Mundisalud" offers a wide range of medical insurance and surgical care for all types of illness or injury through free choice of doctors and hospitals worldwide.

The agreement also allows additional dental coverage to be included with the policies at no extra charge.

The agreement is tailored towards business persons and their families, their  employees and their families, who are accredited members of ACEMCE.

This agreement entered into force on the date of signing and has a duration of one year, and may be  extended for the same duration.
