ACEMCE fully supports the Commerce Department’s initiative to encourage the patronage of local business, and has signed up the scheme. The Association is registered Number 67 in the list of businesses and all members who sign up between now and the 15th August will receive an entry in the prize draw.

Gibraltar Sea Scouts Pipe Band at the ACEMCE stand 

The Business Association’s stand at this year’s festival, held in Sabinillas, proved a great success with members taking the opportunity to promote their businesses as well as raising awareness of the Association and its aims during the three days of festivities.
As part of ACEMCE’s commitment to collaboration and support they were proud to contribute to the success of the International Festival with the sponsorship of the appearance by the Gibraltar Sea Scout Pipe Band, who proved very popular with visitors to the Festival.
ACEMCE is currently putting together an extensive programme of workshops, networking meetings and other events.

ACEMCE Committee 

After months of hard work in setting up, the local business association ACEMCE, Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de Manilva, Casares y Estepona, was finally launched officially on Friday, 16th May at a ceremony held in the Castle at Castillo de la Duquesa, Manilva.

 Meeting with the Mayoress

The Asociación de Comerciantes y Empresarios de Manilva, Casares y Estepona ACEMCE held a meeting this week with the Mayoress of Manilva, Antonia Muñoz Vázquez, with the objective of informing her of the Associations principals and objectives.

The committee explained that ACEMCE seeks to provide a platform for businesses of all nationalities, reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of the commercial landscape of the area, and stated the Association’s aims.

Launch posterACEMCE  will be officially launched at a  party to be held on Friday, 16th May, at the Castle in Castillo de la Duquesa, Manilva.

The evening starts at 7.30 pm with a presentation of the Association and its committee at 8.00 pm.

There will be music during the evening, provided by local music society ASABAM as well as light refreshments. ACEMCE are also sponsoring an exhibition of art and crafts which will also be inaugurated on the same evening and will run from Monday, 19th to Wednesday, 21st May inclusive.

The programme for the evening is as follows:

7.30 pm Reception - with apperitifs
8.00 pm Presentation of the Association and Officers
8.30 pm Musical performance by ASABAM - Agrupacion Musical de 
Amigos de Sabinillas and inauguration of exhibition by local artists.
Refreshments will be served during the evening, and members will be 
available to answer your questions.
